Tunkelo January 20th 2008, 1:08 a.m. Dear friend, One day not so long ago, I was deep in thought over my breakfast at the kitchen table. I was sipping my Italian roast coffee, and mulling various business problems in my head, endlessly. How do I get this bill paid on time? Who do I get to help me with copy? Is there enough time... etc. My thoughts were just about to get the better of me when out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a book I hadn't opened since my college days long, long ago. The
Republic by Plato.
![]() The massive classic of Ancient Philosophy stared me blank in the eye. Still stressed out, I wondered aloud what it wanted from me! Ten seconds passed. No reply! :-) I laughed to myself and picked up the book, cracked it open and just let my eyes rest on the hallowed text. After a while, I just started visualizing what it must have been like to have lived in the times of Plato and Aristotle. I was no expert but I knew when they were among us, they were really among us! Back then, philosophy was not a topic subjected to some narrow, boring corner in the eye of humanities. It
was a Way of Life!
The great philosophers came out and mingled with the people, having long enthusiastic discourses about everything under the sun -- it was all so simple, so practical, such a beautiful way of life! Now, in my sudden daydream, I found myself in the midst of great minds, getting answers to all my questions before I could even ask them! Maybe that's how things work in the dream world, but it felt so natural and comforting, I had to conclude that's exactly how it was back in the Antique times! Then,
I snapped out of it.
Suddenly, I found myself back at the coffee table.
A scent of
coffee, clock ticking in the distance, the book
still in
front of me. Plenty of worries occupying my mind. I sighed the heaviest sigh. How far we'd come from those effortless times of wisdom and simple knowledge of How to Live a Good Life! IF ONLY... there was a way to teleport to those times, and BRING BACK what was then so readily available... I kept staring at the ancient book by Plato.... when something strange happened. I don't know if it was my vivid imagination, my mind playing tricks on me, or Plato himself smiling on me from the High Heavens. Then... suddenly a reply! "Of course you
can!
Time is merely an illusion, a mirage, a veil of linear reality. Tell me what's on your mind." It wasn't really words I heard, it was more like subtle impressions coming down on me, finally showing up as thoughts. My posture straightened up as if a bolt of lighting from Zeus himself had just touched the base of my spine! :) I scrambled to reply, only to say: "Oh, I think my problems are too much to discuss. I don't want to be a burden." He
quickly set me straight -
then the answers started coming... one after the other! This is what he replied to my unfortunate thought: "Don't be silly, Philosophy is for LIFE!
Not the other way round..."
...And so began a series of extraordinary discourses with whom I can only describe as the spirit of Plato himself. At times it feels like the answers are coming fast and furious, and I scramble to write them down. Great Philosophers think FAST, I tell you! :) At other times, it feels as if I'm already getting the answer as I begin to ask it, and I just write down what I realized right there. But all I really know is, it's an extraordinary blessing, it still feels like a miracle every time I get to have these unique discussions. I'm astonished that almost nobody seems to know today what Philosophy REALLY is, and what it can do for you. All
life's issues swung wide open before me!
Relationships, money, business, love. Everything. The Philosopher (as I call him) graciously agreed to let me share these gems with you. So... without further ado, I pledge to give you the greatest secrets and gems gleaned from these unique discussions. All
practical. All down to earth. All miraculous.
Just give me your contact details below, so I can start sending you the deepest practical wisdom available today. I'll tell you ALL about how The Philosopher changed the course of my life, when I most needed it. ...And
how it can change your life too, if you let it!
